Women do not often get much respect in African social circles, especially among tribal groups such as the Maasai. But Joyce, a young women with a Chat mp3 player loaded with songs, testimonies and lessons, was able to birth a revival among the Maasai which led to the planting of a Maasai church.

The video above shows footage of the Maasai celebrating Christ in their village. The photo at right shows Joyce with OLI founders John and Ruth Merrell with the newly constructed church on land donated by a Maasai elder.

Something as simple as a solar powered mp3 player can lead to an eternity with Christ!
